Family Therapy

Elizabeth specializes in supporting families through the complexities of parent-child communication, using a variety of tools to foster understanding, trust, and respect. She helps parents and teens address challenges associated with ADHD, OCD, anxiety and depression. Whether you’re a parent struggling to connect with a teenager, address behavioral concerns, or navigate difficult conversations, or a teen grappling with anxiety and overwhelm, her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and practical techniques that encourage open dialogue, emotional support, and healthy boundaries to foster stronger emotional health and well-being.

As a trained neutral mental health professional for the Collaborative Divorce process, I offer guidance for families facing post-divorce co-parenting challenges. Navigating shared parenting responsibilities after divorce can be difficult.  I assist co-parents, either individually or together, to implement strategies to create a more collaborative and peaceful environment for their children. I work with families to improve communication, set clear expectations, and establish consistent routines, helping families move forward with greater understanding and cooperation for the well-being of their children.

Mindfulness for Teens

Join our intro to mindfulness class, designed to help teens learn to use mindfulness tools to reduce stress and improve relaxation and focus. We will discuss how to use mindfulness tools to address academic and relational stress. We’ll discuss what are common stressors and learn how to become empowered to thrive in all aspects of life.
